Venezuela Demand for Medicine

Amenhotep Zambrano, the Venezuelan ambassador to Tehran, called for the export of pharmaceutical products from Iran to his country, ILNA reported on Saturday. In a meeting with Valiollah Afkhami Rad, the head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Zambrano underlined Iran’s great capacity for medicine exports and his country’s urgent need of medicine. He noted that Iran can play a more active role in the Latin American market by stepping up exports to Venezuela. The Venezuelan minister of industries is going to visit Iran in two weeks to help remove the existing obstacles on the way of bilateral trade. Es’haq Jahangiri, the Iranian vice-president is also going to visit Venezuela in the next few weeks to inaugurate a cement production factory there.
