Iran, New Zealand Join Hands in Agriculture

Iran’s Agricultural Minister Mahmoud Hojjati and New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Murray McCully signed a memorandum of understanding for furthering agricultural cooperation, IRNA reported. Given the production of agricultural products in the two countries, one located in the northern and the other in the southern hemisphere, the two sides expressed readiness for joint cooperation in the processing and export of these products to third countries. McCully arrived in Tehran for a two-day visit on Saturday to discuss issues of mutual interest with Iranian officials.
