The economy grew 2% taking into account oil production and 1.6%, excluding oil, during the fourth quarter of the last Iranian year (December 22, 2015-March 19, 2016) compared to the third quarter, the government spokesman said. “The agriculture sector registered a 5.5% growth in the final three months of last year compared to 3.3% in Q3; the industrial sector grew by 0.6% from -4.4% and the services sector by 0.8% from 0.4%,” Mehr News Agency quoted Mohammad Baqer Nobakht as saying.
