South Korean Yonhap News Agency's CEO Park No-hwang met with Mohsen Jalalpour, the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, in Tehran on Monday to exchange views on the future of bilateral trade relations.

Jalalpour said renewable energies, auto manufacturing, transportation and logistics are areas with high potentials for mutual cooperation, IRNA reported.

Park arrived in Iran on Sunday for a four-day visit aimed at expanding news and information exchange with Iran, Yonhap reported. He is also scheduled to meet Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Hossein Jaberi Ansari, and top representatives of South Korean firms operating in Iran. The visit comes after South Korean President Park Geun-hye headed a trade delegation of more than 230 businesspeople and representatives of economic organizations to Iran last month and signed preliminary agreements worth up to $45 billion.
