There are 34,557 small businesses operating across the country, says managing director of Iran’s Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization. Ali Yazdani added that these firms account for 42% of jobs in the domestic industrial sector, Mehr News Agency reported. By definition, enterprises run by 50 workers or less are considered small businesses, according to the Organization.
