Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture hosted the Second Iran-Algeria Business Forum on Monday with a large number of businessmen from both countries in attendance.  The meeting was co-chaired by Algerian Minister of Industry and Mines Abdeslam Bouchouareb and Iranian deputy minister of industries, mining and trade, Valiollah Afkhamirad.  “Algeria is willing to engage in an effective partnership in the fields of mechanical industry, textile, building materials, electronic industry and steel industry,” Bouchouareb was quoted as saying by Algeria Press Agency.  Officials from the Arab country’s Industry Ministry and representatives of economic organizations, Algeria’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Agency of Investment Development were also present in the meeting, IRNA reported. The first such event was held in December last year.
