Lebanon’s Industry Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan said he is planning to visit Iran soon together with a delegation of industrialists, bankers and investors to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in different fields, including banking and marketing.  He made the announcement during a meeting with Iran’s deputy minister of industries, mining and trade, Mojtaba Khosrotaj, in Beirut on Thursday, IRNA reported.  Khosrotaj and his accompanying trade delegation, who arrived in Lebanon on Wednesday, also met with Lebanese ministers of economy and trade, Alain Hakim, and finance, Ali Hassan Khalil. In his meeting with Hakim, the two sides stressed the importance of finalizing the list of goods that could be subject to a preferential trade agreement between the two countries. “Lebanon is willing to import Iranian pharmaceuticals, thanks to their high quality,” said the Lebanese finance minister.
