Iran Planning Trade Fair in Pakistan

Iran is planning to hold an exclusive exhibition in the Pakistani port city of Karachi in September, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan said. In a meeting with chief executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, SM Muneer, on Wednesday, Mehdi Honardoost added that Iran offers many opportunities for Pakistani businesses, Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported on Thursday. Honardoost stressed the need for developing institutional linkages between the two countries for achieving higher growth and cooperation in trade and industry. Muneer said a high-powered TDAP delegation led by him would be visiting Iran in August this year for an exclusive Pakistani exhibition. “The Pakistani government is working on opening banking channels between the two countries,” he said.
