Iran and Oman have started direct shipping via the Iranian port of Bandar Lengeh–located in Hormozgan Province on the coast of the Persian Gulf–and Oman’s Sohar Port with the export of pipes to the Islamic Republic and import of gypsum by the Sultanate, IRNA reported. Earlier in February, the two countries launched another direct shipping route from Iran’s Shahid Rajaei Port–also in Hormozgan Province–to and from Sohar.
