Fruit Exports Down 30%

Iran exported 1.2 million tons of fruit worth about $409 million in the last Iranian year (ended March 19), which shows a 30% decline compared to the previous year’s corresponding figure. Watermelon and melon were the most lucrative exports in the fresh fruit sector, accounting for $152 million of the total value, ISNA reported.
