Uruguayan Trade Delegation Planned

Uruguay’s Foreign Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa, leading an economic delegation, is expected to visit Iran in May, according to Uruguayan Ambassador to Iran Juan Carlos Ojeda. “Companies active in the production of rice, meat and dairy products will travel to Iran to meet with their Iranian counterparts and discuss ways of expanding trade ties,” the ambassador was quoted by Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture’s news service as saying in a meeting with the chamber’s deputy head, Farhad Sharif, in Tehran last week.
