Improving the business environment, paving the way for domestic and foreign investors and bolstering non-oil exports are the main demands of the private sector from the government in the current Iranian year (started March 20), said the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture on Tuesday. Masoud Khansari also called for unification of foreign exchange rate, eradication of rent-seeking and fighting against corruption in the new Iranian year. “We also ask the parliament to revise the past laws instead of drafting new ones and remove the impediments to business growth,” IRNA quoted Khansari as saying.
