Exports to Iraq

More than 5.8 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at $2.38 billion were exported to Iraq via the western land border checkpoints of Parvizkhan and Khosravi in the last Iranian year (ended March 19), which shows a 12% increase in volume and 22% rise in value compared to the year before, IRNA reported. Construction materials such as cement, air conditioners, cookies and biscuits, fruits and vegetables were Iran’s main exports to Iraq via the two border crossing during the period. Most of the exports were transported through Parvizkhan.
