Iran’s egg exports have halved over the past one and a half months, the head of the board of directors at Tehran’s Union of Producers of Egg-Laying Chicken. “The decrease in exports come as Turkey entered the global egg market over a month ago,” Nasser Nabipour was also quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency. “Lower exports combined with overproduction have led to the decline of egg prices in the domestic market,” he said. Nabipour also noted that domestic demand for egg remained unchanged over the period.
