Tehran will play host to the 10th plastic industry exhibition dubbed “Iran Plast” from April 13-17. More than 500 international companies dealing with raw materials, plastic manufacturing machinery, rubber molds and rubber industry services are expected to take part in the upcoming event. According to Mohammad Maqareh, the exhibition manager, this indicates a remarkable increase compared to previous years as a result of the removal of western sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program in mid-January. “Iran Plast offers the best opportunity to domestic businesses to acquire the latest technologies, find reliable business partners, attract investment and market their products regarding petrochemical processing industries, plastics and polymers,” he said.
