By streamlining rules and eliminating unnecessary regulations, the ministries of agriculture and industries, in cooperation with Tehran Stock Exchange, have cut 400 procedures for getting the permit to establish a business, said a deputy economy minister.
“Smart rules are of central importance to economic growth, but there are some restrictive regulations that need to be removed,” IRNA quoted Shapour Mohammadi as saying.
The official noted that red tape cutting will continue well into the next Iranian year (to begin March 20).
