Spanish FM Mulls Iran Visit

Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Jose Garcia-Margallo says he plans to head a delegation of representatives of Spanish companies to Iran in the near future. “The plan is to hold talks with Iranian government officials as well as representatives of the private sector,” said Margallo, speaking after a meeting of the European Union foreign ministers in Brussels, IRNA reported. Expansion of cooperation between Iran and the EU was a hot topic of discussion in the meeting. Margallo has already paid two visits to Iran in March 2014 and September 2015. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif paid a visit to Spain in April 2015.
