The first shipment of Iranian dairy products was exported to Russia about 10 days ago, Iran’s Dairy Industries Society announced. “The shipment consisted of different types of hard cheese. The products will soon be distributed in Russian supermarkets and we are waiting for the feedbacks to plan our subsequent exports,” Mehr News Agency quoted Reza Bakeri, an IDIS official, as saying. Russians annually consume some 250,000 tons of cheese.
