Omani Delegation in Chabahar

Oman’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy and Minister of Transport and Communications Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, accompanying a 60-strong delegation, entered Iran’s southern port of Chabahar via Hormoz ship on Saturday, IRNA reported.
“Talks will be held on expanding the port and Makran petrochemical park to become Iran’s third petrochemical hub, besides facilitating commercial, investment and transit interactions,” said CEO of Ports and Maritime Organization Mohammad Saeednejad. The delegation is to explore investment opportunities in Chabahar to start economic activities in future.  Chabahar is a free port located on the coast of the Sea of Oman, offering wide capacity for trade and economic activity.
