Romanian Minister Meets Tayyebnia

Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Lazar Comanescu met with Iran’s Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia during his three-day Iran visit on Wednesday. Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, Comanescu arrived in Tehran on Monday. “Agriculture, information technology, transportation and energy are among sectors that offer high potential for further bilateral ties between Tehran and Bucharest,” IRNA quoted the visiting minister as saying. “The envisioned $3 billion economic exchanges between Romania and Iran are within reach, given the capacities of the two countries,” the Iranian minister said.
