Iran- Georgia bilateral exchanges can increase ten-fold, the head of Iran-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group, Moayyed Hosseini said in the meeting between an Iranian parliamentary delegation and the Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Tbilisi on Wednesday. The meeting was aimed at discussing ways to increase the volume of trade and economic exchanges between the two countries. Hosseini stated that Iran is ready to hold talks to pave the way for using the transit and ports capacities in both countries in a bid to diversify transportation capacities of Iran and Georgia. Kvirikashvili, for his part, stressed that Iran and Georgia should pay more attention to enhancing the level of their ties, especially economy and trade. The Iranian delegation arrived in Tbilisi on a five-day visit at the official invitation of co-chairman of Iran-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group, Gubaz Sanikidze.
