A 24-member delegation from Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry met members of Khorasan Razavi’s Chamber of Commerce in Mashhad on Tuesday.  Both sides discussed cooperation in food, airport construction, textile and agriculture sectors, IRNA reported. During the meeting, head of Khorasan Razavi’s chamber, Gholamhossein Shafei, said Tehran and Islamabad should review the list of items in preferential trade agreements to battle smuggling. The team, which is headed by LCCI’s Senior Vice President Almas Hyder, left Pakistan on Friday for a seven-day visit to Iran to explore trade and investment opportunities and possibilities of joint ventures between the private sectors of the two countries.
