More than 8.4 million tons of non-oil goods were imported via Shahid Rajaei Port in the southern province of Hormozgan during the 11 Iranian months ending Feb. 19, registering a 28% decrease compared with the similar period of last year, director general of Hormozgan Ports and Maritime Organization, Ebrahim Idani, was quoted as saying by IRNA. Shahid Rajaei Port is one of the main transit routes linking Central Asia to Eastern Europe. The port accounts for 90% of Iran’s cargo operations.
