An economic delegation, comprising representatives of 80 private Iranian companies, is scheduled to visit Germany on March 2-4 at the invitation of Eric Schweitzer, president of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, says Pedram Soltani, deputy head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture—the organizer of the visit. Banks and financial institutes, insurance, industrial, services and trade companies have representatives in the visiting team, Eghtesad News quoted Soltani as saying. Earlier this month, Masoud Khansari, the head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, led a mission of 60 businessmen during a visit to Munich and Berlin. Iranian chambers of commerce are home to representatives of the private sector.
