Over 70 million tons of goods were loaded and unloaded in the ports of the southern Hormozgan Province during the 10-month period ending January 20, with non-oil commodities accounting for 43.56 million tons of the figure, said Ebrahim Idani, the head of Ports and Maritime Organization of the province. He noted that around 21.22 million tons of non-oil products were exported from the provincial ports during the period, Mehr News Agency reported. Hormozgan is home to Iran’s major ports on the coasts of Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman, including Bandar Abbas and Shahid Rajaei.
