South Korean Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Joo Hyung-hwan is scheduled to visit Iran at the head of a commercial delegation to attend the 11th session of the two country’s joint economic commission in Tehran on Feb. 28-29. Seoul joined other countries in lifting sanctions against Iran last month after the landmark nuclear accord reached between Tehran and world powers went into effect, IRNA reported. “South Korea will provide comprehensive financial support to local companies wanting to enter the Iranian market,” Joo said earlier in February.
