Tax Cuts for Creating Jobs

The government will offer tax incentives for companies that hire more staff, according to Labor Minister Ali Rabiei. “With the ratification of the Cabinet, companies that increase their employee numbers will get tax breaks,” IRNA quoted the minister as saying earlier this week. The hiring has to be validated by the ministry. If the government implements this decision, the law could change Iran’s labor market dynamics depending on the breaks offered. Tax breaks are part of the administration’s efforts to curb unemployment, which is especially high among people under the age of 30.
