Nomads produce 180,000 tons of meat annually, says the head of Nomadic Affairs Organization. According to Karamali Qandali, government support such as provision of cheap fodder and low interest loans have played an instrumental role in empowering nomads and helping them contribute to the national economy, IRNA reported.
