Seven-thousand kilometers of highways are under construction across the country, says the managing director of Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructure Company affiliated to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. Kheirollah Khademi added that 1,250 kilometers of these highways will be completed by the end of the current fiscal year (March 19, 2016), IRNA reported.
