Tehran to Host Iran-Kazakhstan Business Forum

A Kazakh-Iranian business forum will be held on Feb. 7 in Tehran to discuss ways of promoting bilateral economic cooperation, Kazakhstan’s newspaper The Astana Times reported. Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev is expected to attend the forum, along with more than 100 Kazakh companies active in a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, food processing, machine manufacturing, petrochemical and agriculture. Iran’s Industries, Mining and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, Roads and Urban Development Minister Abbas Akhoundi and Agriculture Minister Mahmoud Hojjati will also attend the forum, according to the report.
