Thai Delegation Due on Tuesday

Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak, leading a high-level trade delegation that includes six ministers, is scheduled to visit Iran on Tuesday for a four-day visit to promote bilateral trade. Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai, Energy Minister Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn, Science and Technology Minister Pichet Durongkaveroj and Finance Minister Apisak Tantivorawong will be accompanying the premier, IRNA reported. The visit comes after Iran and Thailand held a meeting of their joint economic commission in Tehran last week. Thai foreign minister and Iran’s Industries, Mining and Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh jointly chaired the meeting.
