About 40,000 Mehr housing units will be completed and delivered to the applicants by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2015) in cities with a population of 25,000 or below, the head of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation, Alireza Tabesh said in a session of the provincial planning council. As IRNA reported on Monday, around 348,000 Mehr housing units are presently under construction in cities with a population under 25,000, of which 272,000 units have been completed. He said that currently, about 25,000 units in small cities across the country face installation infrastructure problems. “Those structures will be demolished in the coming months to start the rebuilding process.”
