Some 575,000 tons of commodities worth $137 million were exported from North Khorasan Province during the nine-month period ending December 21, according to the northeastern province’s Industries, Mining and Trade Organization. The exports included petrochemicals, urea, melamine, ammonia, steel products, plastic products, bottle caps, disposable utensils, construction materials, food products, carpets and home appliances, Mehr News Agency reported. India was North Khorasan’s main export destination followed by Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
