Ban on Reexporting Turkish Products to Russia

Iranian traders are banned from reexporting Turkish products to Russia, said deputy head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran. Mohammad Reza Modoudi added that the commercial ID cards of offenders will be revoked.  Russia issued a ban on Turkish imports days after one of its jets was downed by Turkey near the Syrian border late November.  “Reexports of Turkish products to Russia runs counter to Iran’s macro policies on export promotion, besides increasing the risk of seriously damaging relations with Moscow,” IRNA quoted the Iranian official as saying.
