The biggest business delegation in years from the eastern Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi is to visit Poland on Monday, Radio Poland reported on its website Thenews.pl.  With a population of six million, Khorasan Razavi offers opportunities for investments in mining, industrial, agricultural and energy projects.  Thirty-eight minerals are extracted in the province, which makes the country rank eighth in the world. It also produces high-quality agricultural and horticultural products, including saffron, cotton, pomegranate and medical herbs, the report said. Many European and Polish investors have their eyes on Iran which, following the nuclear deal struck in Vienna last summer, is on the verge of reintroducing itself to the world economy. “It’s important for us to meet Iranians; it’s important for us to meet their culture and to learn the way they do business in Iran,” said Jacek Sosnowski, the chairman of the Polish-Iranian Business Council, created last autumn.
