Metro industry taps into domestic resources to meet 70% of its needs for parts, said the managing director of Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Company. Mohsen Nayebi added that the Second Exhibition of Iranian Producers’ Participation in Metro Industry known as Rinex 2016 will be held at Tehran’s Goftogou Park on January 17-19. Tehran Metro carries more than 3 million passengers a day. The system is 168 kilometers and consists of four operational lines and 96 stations.
