Latest statistics on Iran-Turkey transactions show between March and December 21, bilateral trade stood at $8.9 billion, which indicate a 28.61% decline compared with the preceding year’s similar nine-month period, IRNA reported. Turkey’s exports to Iran recorded a 3.5% decrease, while its imports registered a 38% fall. Turkish exports to Iran mainly include machinery, motor vehicles, iron and steel products, boilers, electric devices and tobacco products. Crude oil and natural gas dominate Iranian exports to Turkey.
