Trade with China saw a 34% decline in 2015, says the deputy head of Iran-China Chamber of Commerce. Majid Reza Hariri added that the falling prices of oil, gas condensates, iron ore and other minerals are to blame for the slowdown in economic exchanges between the two countries, ISNA reported. “All these have led to a trade deficit with China, which is unprecedented in the history of our bilateral ties. Mutual trade balance has always favored Iran in the past 30 years,” he said. Hariri also announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Iran next month.
