Markazi Exports

Markazi Province exported 474,000 tons of goods valued at $349 million during nine months ending December 21, according to the province’s customs bureau. Although the volume of exports rose 2% compared with the similar period of a year before, the value fell 31% due to a drop in oil prices, IRNA reported. Hydrogenated hydrocarbon, polyethylene, polyester, cement, ceramics, tiles, mirrors, glass, frozen chicken, potato chips and biscuits were Markazi’s main exports destined for 40 countries, including Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Italy, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, Spain, Kazakhstan, France, Georgia, Belgium, Somalia and Bangladesh.
