A total of 8.8 million tons of oil and non-oil goods crossed Iran’s borders during the nine-month period that ended on December 22, says director general of Transit and Border Terminals Bureau. “Of the overall figure, 3.95 million tons pertained to oil-based goods and 4.85 million tons pertained to non-oil commodities,” Mohammad Javad Atrchian said. Bandar Abbas, Parviz Khan, Bashmaq and Bazargan were the most active border terminals in terms of incoming transit, while Imam Khomeini Port, Bandar Abbas, Lotfabad and Sarakhs were busiest regarding outbound transit in a descending order, IRNA quoted the official as saying.
