Livestock Imports Banned

Livestock imports have been banned, says the head of Iran Veterinary Organization, Mehdi Khalaj. “We have never issued any permit for importing livestock from any country. The only permits issued are associated with the imports of limited livestock breeds from Canada and European countries for breeding purposes,” Mehr News Agency quoted the official as saying.
