Outbound Smuggling Halved

Outbound smuggling has been cut by half since three years ago, says the head of Central Taskforce to Combat Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Currency. Habibollah Haqiqi referred to economic woes such as unemployment and pocketbook issues caused by smuggling and said by eradicating goods smuggling, which now stands at $20 billion a year, it is possible to add 2 million jobs, Mehr News Agency reported.
