Close to $217 million worth of domestic goods were sold to neighboring countries through Iran’s border markets from March to September, according to the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade. With $102 million, the southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan had the biggest share of the value, IRNA reported.  Meanwhile, goods valued at $75 million were sold in the border markets during the same period, which shows a 23% rise compared to last year’s corresponding figure.
