Footwear Exports

Some 5,000 tons of footwear valued at $27 million were exported from March 21 to October 22, according to Iran Customs Administration. The figures are almost the same as those of last year’s corresponding period, ISNA reported. Iraq, having imported close to 1,000 tons worth $14 million, was the biggest customer of Iranian footwear followed by Pakistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, the UAE, Bahrain, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Oman, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Nigeria.
