More than 321,000 tons of goods worth over $75.32 million were exported from Semnan to 32 countries, including Iraq, Turkmenistan, Germany, Australia, the UK, India, Azerbaijan and the UAE, during the seven-month period ending October 22, according to the customs bureau of the province. The main exports were cement, lead ingot, tiles, refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, minerals, washing powder, polystyrene, sodium hypochlorite, steel profile and disposable dishes, Mehr News Agency reported. The province imported more than 17,000 tons of commodities valued at $29.51 million mainly from China, Turkey, Italy, the UK, the UAE, Taiwan, Kyrgyzstan and Slovenia, during the same period.
