A trade delegation from Spain’s Basque region, including owners and managers of 14 firms, were due in Iran on Saturday to explore investment opportunities in the country. The visiting firms are active in the steel, auto, architecture, energy and home appliances sectors, IRNA cited the Spanish daily Empresa Exterior as reporting. Their stay is scheduled to run until November 26. Basque Country is an autonomous community of northern Spain. It ranks first in Spain in terms of per capita income.
