Isfahan-Salzburg MoU

A comprehensive memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the sectors of tourism, industry, arts, water, technology and student exchange was signed between the Governor of Isfahan Province Rasoul Zargarpour, and the Governor of the Austrian city of Salzburg Wilfried Haslauer on Monday. “The MoU provides a good basis for increasing collaboration between Isfahan and Salzburg,” said Haslauer, adding that fostering closer ties with Iran is of great importance considering its geopolitical position. A 40-member trade delegation accompanied Haslauer on his trip to Isfahan, IRNA reported. In September, another Austrian mission led by the country’s president, Heinz Fischer, traveled to Tehran.
