Bushehr H1 Exports Up 20%

More than 13,660 million tons of non-oil goods worth over $7.25 billion were exported from Bushehr’s 13 customs terminals, mainly to the UAE, India, Qatar, Kuwait and Vietnam, during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), says the superintendent of the Customs Bureau of the southern province, Ahmad Pour-Heidar. The figures show a 16% increase in weight and 20% growth in value compared with the similar period of last year. Major exports were condensates, petrochemicals, base oil, normal paraffin, linear alkylbenzene and a variety of fish and cement, IRNA reported. Close to 834,000 tons of commodities worth over 1.62 billion were imported via the province during the same period, indicating a 1% and 17% decrease in weight and value respectively.
