Tehran is hosting trade missions from five countries this week.

Deputy President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa was due to arrive in the Iranian capital on Saturday at the head of a 160-member trade delegation. The visit comes at the invitation of First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri.

Traders from Turkey’s Konya Province were also due to meet Iranian businesspersons in Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture on Saturday, Donya-e-Eqtesad reported.

This would be the second Turkish team visiting Tehran in the current Iranian year (started March 21) after a commercial delegation was headed by the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in early spring.

On Sunday, a trade commission from Belgium will take a trip to Tehran to meet private sector business players in TCCIMA headquarters and assess Iran’s market at close range.

Another team consists of Armenian traders from 50 Armenia-based companies. The delegation, headed by the country’s Minister of Economy, Karen Chshmaritian, is scheduled to attend a trade conference in TCCIMA's headquarters in Tehran on Monday.

Also on Tuesday, the chamber will host a delegation from Austria’s Salzburg, headed by the state's governor Wilfried Haslauer. In September, another Austrian mission led by the country’s president, Heinz Fischer, had traveled to Tehran.
