Agricultural Coop. With Lithuania

Iran and Lithuania can cooperate in the agricultural sector and establish profitable trade ties, said Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Virginija Baltraitiene, who headed a 12-strong trade delegation to the 14th International Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry, Dairy and Related Industries held in Tehran on Monday. “Iran is highly experienced in wheat, barley and dairy production, and we seek to utilize its expertise,” Fars News Agency quoted her as saying. The Lithuanian official also met with her Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Hojjati, later in the day and discussed expansion of agricultural trade ties.
